Lexah loves babies. Anything soft and cuddly she calls "baba" . So she has been sick for about a week now (and all the kids went through the illness) and the big kids have felt so bad for her so they made her a bed of "babas" to comfort her! She was getting worse rather than better each day so Monday morning she woke up with a 103.8 fever so I took her around the corner to the pediatrician's office. He listened to her lungs and did the usual check up, gave the diagnosis and then a BIG shot in the leg of antibiotics and now she is on oral antibiotics for 10 days. She perked up right away and isn't contagious anymore (after 24 hours on antibiotics)! By the way--she is 19 pounds 4 ounces with all of her clothes on and a soaking wet diaper!

I feel so bad, I didn't even know she was so sick! That's awful to have one that wee be that sick. Glad she's on the mend now!
It's amazing how much children have in common. Jarekah loves babies too. We went through a similar situation with Jarekah! A few weeks ago we noticed she was not getting better from her "cold" and then one day she spiked a fever of 105, so we took her to the emergency room. She had bronchitis and had to take oral antibiotics for 10 days as well. Scary stuff. Glad to see Lexah is doing better!
she is a tinsy little thing! Ella is like 26 pounds! Glad she is feeling better! We have dodged the sick train for the most part in our house. Ella loves baba's too! :)

I think Wrigley may pass her up in no time, he's 14lbs 4oz with his chubs & clothes.
