Cook Camp Out 2009
Every year since we have been married (that I can remember), we have gone on a Cook Family camping trip. This year we went to Lava Hot Springs. Friday we went swimming for the day at the Lava pool and water slides. Saturday Jer, Savannah, Mariah, and Jayce floated the river with all of Jer's family except a few of us who stayed at camp with the babies. The 4th of July (Sat. night), they had a little firework show that we could see from our camp site. The show DID NOT even compare to the Melalueca Freedom Fireworks Show in Idaho Falls. It was fine, just not what we are used to seeing. The kids had lots of fun playing with their cousins. I really liked camping in a grassy area especially with Lexie being so little still. The cousins played ball, teeter tottered, and played on the camp area swing set. Happy Camping to all of you this year!

Sounds like fun and cute pictures of the kiddos. Next year we may try camping with all of Jeff's family (and maybe with just Josh's family.) All I know is I'm not much of a camper, I think its just a great thing to do with a family. I wished we would have done more as kids so that it would come more naturally.
How fun! I miss camping so much. I think once Jarekah gets a little older (maybe next year) we will venture out. I am such a germ-o-phobe and hate dirt, but she will be a little more coordinated next year. Your Lexi looks a lot like Jaclyn's Madi in the yellow. So cute!
