Peace

I had the great opportunity of attending Relief Society today! I am usually teaching primary but received a break today and a chance to attend Relief Society. We had a beautiful lesson about peace that I needed to hear, as their has been much contention in my home lately (kids arguing, mom yelling, etc.) I have dedicated myself to being a peacemaker in my home and have already had 5 opportunities to make peace since I got home from church less than 2 hours ago! :)

Ephesians 4:31-32 "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

"But the peacemaker, O give ear to him! for the words of his mouth and his doctrine drop like the rain, and distil as the dew. They are like the gentle mist upon the herbs, and as the moderate shower upon the grass. --Joseph Smith

Can you come spread some peace in Michigan? We need it terribly! On a somewhat related note we also need spring!

Hey there Sis,
There has also been some drama, squawbling, and lack of peace in our neck of the woods. This was something I needed to hear today. THanks! I'm working on being a peacemaker this coming week myself.
